A City Assessment on Lighting Development in Climate Action Plans
“A City Assessment on Lighting Development in Climate Action Plans” is a new global survey-based report exploring how 41 cities across five continents are using lighting to advance their climate and energy goals.
The publication introduces tools such as the Lighting Transition Matrix and Radar Map to help cities benchmark their progress, identify barriers, and pinpoint strategic opportunities to accelerate efficient and connected LED adoption.
Developed with experts from the Urban Transitions Mission and the Global Covenant of Mayors for Climate & Energy, the report was made possible with the support and expertise of LUCI’s Supporting Associated Member Signify. Their contribution underlines the importance of collaboration between cities, manufacturers, and solution providers to unlock the full climate, social, and economic benefits of sustainable urban lighting.
